TITLE - A Patient-Centric Approach: Individualized Treatment Plans in Renal Cell Carcinoma

TARGET AUDIENCE - Target audiences for this program are Specialty Pharmacists, Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacists, Specialty Pharmacy executives, Pharmacy Directors, Chief Pharmacy Officers, Oncology Pharmacists, Oncology Nurses and Nurses

LEARNING OBJECTIVES - After completing the program, Specialty Pharmacists, Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacists, Specialty Pharmacy executives, Pharmacy Directors, Chief Pharmacy Officers, Oncology Pharmacists, Oncology Nurses and Nurses, along with other healthcare practitioner participants will be able to:

  1. List the histological classification of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and the implications of these subtypes in the prognosis and treatment of the disease
  2. Review guidelines for treatment and management of RCC
  3. Discuss clinical challenges in individualizing and optimizing the treatment sequencing strategy for patients with metastatic RCC
  4. Describe strategies to facilitate the education and counseling of patients with RCC and their caregivers
  5. Identify an individualized treatment plan based on a patient's clinical presentation and medical history

This program is approved for 1.5 hours (0.15CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit. Proof of participation will be posted to your NABP CPE profile within 4 to 6 weeks to participants who have successfully completed the post-test. Participants must participate in the entire presentation and complete the course evaluation to receive continuing pharmacy education credit.
