TITLE - Ankylosing Spondylitis: An Update on Clinical Considerations, Diagnosis and Treatment Options

TARGET AUDIENCE - Target audiences for this program are Specialty Pharmacists, Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacists, Specialty Pharmacy executives, Pharmacy Directors, Chief Pharmacy Officers, and Nurses

LEARNING OBJECTIVES - After completing the program, Specialty Pharmacists, Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacists, Specialty Pharmacy executives, Pharmacy Directors, Chief Pharmacy Officers, and Nurses, along with other healthcare practitioner participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the pathogenesis of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)
  2. Identify signs and symptoms of AS, as well as individuals at higher risk for the condition
  3. Discuss possible complications associated with AS
  4. Recognize criteria and tests used to diagnose AS
  5. Review treatment and management strategies and develop a personalized plan based on an individual's presentation

Specialty Pharma Education Center (SPEC) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. This program is approved for 2.0 hours (0.2CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit. Proof of participation will be posted to your NABP CPE profile within 4 to 6 weeks to participants who have successfully completed the post-test. Participants must participate in the entire presentation and complete the course evaluation to receive continuing pharmacy education credit.
